Is Wazzub a Scam or is Wazzub a Pyramid Scheme?
When I saw it for the first time the two questions that popped into my head were is Wazzub a Scam and is Wazzub a pyramid scheme? If you found this article you are probably asking the same question so lets take a look.
Visit www.MilkyWay.ws for More Information
First question – What is the Worst Case Scenario for “Yes” to the question Is Wazzub a Scam?
Second question – What is the Best Case Scenario for “No” to the question Is Wazzub a Scam?
What is the Worst Case Scenario for Is Wazzab a Scam?
If the answer to the question “Is Wazzub a Scam?” turns out to be yes, the worst case scenario is that you are out only the money for the cost of the electricity to power your computer or the cost of the minutes on your cell phone to call your friends and family. Wazzub is free forever. Just like FaceBook, just like Google, just like Yahoo.
All you are required to do during the pre-launch stage is enter your email and create a password to enter your backoffice. For all the conspiracy people out there who think that money can somehow be siphoned out of your wallet through your email address…well….your funny
If Wazzub comes to all users and says “Oh, we DO need money to pay you after all, please forward payment to our secure lock box in Nigeria…” then please don’t do it. I do not see them doing that because it wouldn’t make sense. That being said there will be services on the site that do cost money (like games issued by third parties) but they are not required to be purchased and earn money and this is not where most monies are coming from. I will talk about where money comes to pay the “network creators” later. To me, this is the ultimate attraction marketing concept!
Summary – Worst case scenario for the loss of money is negligible, don’t ever pay money for the service and you can’t lose.
What is the Best Case Scenario if the answer to “Is Wazzub is a Scam” is NO!
If the answer to Is Wazzub a Scam is “no”, and you take the time to share it with friends and family and encourage them to share it with their friends and family, the potential is unlimited. Granted making a lot of money will not be realized by most people but just showing 5 people who show 5 others has the potential to make around $30 per month once those people make Wazzub their homepage (for example mine is currently Google, I will just switch it to Wazzub when the site goes live)
If someone really shares this and creates a huge network, the earnings could be enormous. The matrix Wazzub uses to pay its members is found by visiting www.milkyway.ws and clicking the FAQ tab in the top right corner. Is Wazzub a scam? They have put a lot of work into being as helpful as possible so I can not see the angle of it being a email collection scam or any other racket.
The power of creating a network is illustrated in this example: If someone were to offer you $1,000,000 today or a penny that doubles in value everyday for a month (say January) which one would you take? If you are smart you will take the penny that doubles everyday for a month because that penny ends up turning into $21,400,000! Get a calculator, start with $.01 and hit (x2) 31 times if you don’t believe me.
Summary – Best case scenario for making money in Wazzub is enormous although most people will make only a few dollars a month. It really depends on the effort of the individual and their ability to encourage others to share with others.
So with Zero downside risk and enormous upside potential this is an amazing business model! Just share it. Is Wazzub a scam? It sure doesn’t seem to be.
Is Wazzub a Pyramid Scheme?
The next question is Wazzub a pyramid scheme? The pay makes it look like the guy on top makes all the money while the people on the bottom make nothing?
First, in order for Wazzub or any other “investment” to be a pyramid scheme, people have to contribute their own money to pay the people on the top without receiving value. In Wazzub, THERE IS $0 MONEY…therefore it can not even get past the first test of being a pyramid scheme.
People who have more people in their matrix will make more than the people on the bottom who have none or few…yes that is true. Right now, Facebook has Mark Zuckerberg on top and 1,000,000,000 users below him. The people on the bottom make $0….Zuckerberg and crew make about $4,000,000,0000 per year. Good for him, he gave us a great venue to use for free and we use it because we like it. Now is Facebook a scam or is Wazzub a scam if they share those profits. Neither ventures are in my opinion.
People will use Wazzzub because they like it too and are going to be paid to use it because they share in the revenue.
Where does the money come to pay people if nobody pays?
Have you ever watched NBC, CBS or ABC without a cable connection? These channels have been around since the 1950′s FOR FREE and have made a ton of money in the process. Why? Because they made programs that people watched. When people are watching, advertisers pay to have access. Did you ever know where the term “soap opera” came from? When shows like “All my Children” or “Days of Our Lives” were on, housewives watched them and companies like Proctor and Gamble (PG) would interupt the program to show you how much easier Tide could make their life by washing cloths effortlessly!
The same concept applies to FaceBook, Google, YouTube, Yahoo and now Wazzub! The more eyes on the screen, the more Wazzub can pay its users because advertisers pay to have access to our eyes. The way I look at it is they are going to pay someone to access me regardless of what site I use, I might as well get paid for it! So is Wazzub a scam or is Wazzub a pyramid scheme? Who cares, there is nothing to lose if it turns out to be and everything to gain when it proves to be legitimate. If the answer to “Is Wazzub a Scam” proves to be “N0!”, then this business is a great way to raise money for anybody!

Wazzub is a scam. It has operated under the name of GIT Global Investments Inc. which has scammed people in the past.
A fool and his money are soon parted.

Hi Bob, Thanks for the comment!
That is what I am trying to figure out….how can Wazzub take money if we never give them any? If you can help with this question, that would be great. I haven’t seen the risk and I can’t figure out how this fool is going to lose his money.

I think you are agreeing with the post. There is no indication that Wazzub is a scam and you are correct, if they don’t follow through with what they say they are going to do then their whole project would fall apart do to the “ill will” they create.
Thanks for the comment!

I don’t care whether it’s a scam, I just don’t like the marketing strategy, which appeals to greed and consumerism.

A very basic answer to the dfcefrenie between MLM and the Pyramids ?MLM will have a product/service where you will earn money from the volume of product that people in your network buy.Pyramids usually people exchange money with no product/service, usually only one person is paid when they have moved to a particular position ie: top of the triangle/pyramidYes you are quite right regarding the structure of organisations eg: Govt. President Senators Advisors PublicSchool Principal Heads of Dept Teachers StudentsCo. Boss Supervisors Team Leaders WorkersBut no money is changing hands for no prod/service in these structuresAlot of people have lost money in both in Pyramids they may have paid money to join the scheme but it may have collapsed before they reached the top of the pyramid therefore they would not have been paid the money promised once they’d reached the top.. they did’nt reach the top.In MLM they had paid to join, spent money on products, invested time and money recruiting people to join under them and promoted the opportunity only to find that the company may not be stable, owners may run off with the money, they may not be able to pay your commission cheques . sometimes its not the company it is the people not working the program that is the prob the list goes onAlot of the time all these schemes/plans/systems work its actually the people involved who fail to work at them I hope this helps

Think about it How Many of these things has been around? After marketing online since 1994 I say its not an Opportunity. Its another Site that is building a List but what a Crappy list of folks that want to do nothing to get paid. I have heard it was another one from Damian Westmoreland the one that Started Green Zapp he zapped every ones green alright.

If anyone still thinks that WAZZUB is genuine there are only 2 reasons.
1) He or she either didn’t do their homework.
or
2) That person is a total and incurable idiot.
Everything screams scam. Starting with their cheap website claiming with fake counter, to their unstable business model that is doomed to fail AND A POTENTIALLY ILLEGAL MODEL TOO.
In between that you will find that a WHOIS search will show you that the Halversons Cathy and William that started this have a history of registering fake businesses including a bank, “health care research”, Laundry… which have next to zero employees. They also have a history with the law.
The real issue is not whether they are real or not. WAZZUB idiots will just reply “they are not asking for money, so what’s the worse that can happen?”
That thinking is naive.
With the data you supplied (IP adress, e-mail, real name, country and list of friends) they can go on a social network and find all they need about you and with that they can carry out an identity theft.
Those that join are people who believe that free money can exist. So you are ending up on something called “a sucker list” for all the scammers on the internet to enjoy.
And we all know what happens to whoever plays with fire.
I know for fact that WAZZUB is preparing a run and dump scam for its paid members. They will be given the opportunity to buy their penny stocks and thereby “invest” in Wazzub’s growth. THis will be their main scam but not all.
On WAZZUB.com they even claim SUPERIOR ANONYMITY. This is an evident lie. One of many.
The number of contradictions they themselves are pushing are numerous. First they say that they are using the same technology as Google while saying they will pay half th earnings… That breaches the terms agreed with Google if done.
Finally the real scam will be against advertisers.
If Wazzub tells its users to click on ads so that profits increase, they would be scamming the advertisers wouldn’t they?
Well, they are already suggesting it in a subtle way by saying “we (therefore you) make money every time someone clicks an ad”.
It’s a Get Paid To Click website that may actually give an insignificant amount of money out, but you will be swimming in scammer’s galore and being slowly manipulated into giving money out yourself.
Gather all idiots that believe you can make lots of easy money from the internet in one place and you’ve got the perfect heaven for scammers. That’s just what wazzub is. They are rounding the pigs in a barn to eventually slaughter as many as possible.

scam or no scam i registered in wazzup and already built a small network, enough for me to be paid (according to its wazzub calculator)a sum of $7,000/month for life, if this is a scam then it’s a scam…but if it’s for real..i don’t wanna ba left behind either, regretting that i passed off a good opportunity.

Right! Great point. Too, though remember that the calculator is there to provide and example. The $1 a month per family member probably won’t happen for a while. That being said, the amount per family member could be much larger that $1 per person. I can see a lot of people being pissed in the beginning if they aren’t getting $1. That just won’t happen.
You did however create a network. Feel free to download the book I wrote on Amazon.com

No, you do not have to sign up again. Go to this link and you will have your “back office” when you enter your user name and password.

This back office will also show your people you have. You should show as many people as possible…5 is just an example.

I agree with Member Wealth’s post here. It is a simple concept of electronic age. No investment, some spare time invested as we do regularly, and a few friends and relatives. This can be translated to a bit of sweat & mind equity where you work for future or yet to be generated profit and there is a definite time guideline i.e. April 09th.
What we usually do ?. We visit those blog sites where people gather and exchange views, ideas and similar. I took this to be such a site and it is clear that the promoter wishes to have as many people members come in and do as above. It is also clear that the company is saying “future profits” which needs to be borne in mind. Only if advertisers as PPC which includes us pay we (pre-launch members)have a chance of earning “future profits”. Those who join need to understand this first. Further, if the site fails to generate revenue via advertising we do not earn the share of profits.
There are some scam notes about this company. But, no one ever said the company took money from people in the past.
An idea can come from any quarter or simple minds.
With a helthy company profit sharing is a good idea as being widely followed in Americas.
We can not jump into conclusion about the company solely based on the pas performance or history.
Offer from Wazubb looks like take it or leave it but we do not ask for any investment. If you do consider and believe us and also may be in the future if you further consider advertising on our site then we both profit from the sweat and mind equity we are making now.
Historically, past is an indication but not that it happens for sure. If that is the scenario we should be having several of wars.
To conclude, several of brilliantly opened, managed companies have gone bankrupt and that does not mean they were all scammers.
Ironically Wuzzubb is on FACEBOOK. That is the spirit of this electronic ideas.
My link to Wazzubb is as following :

The only thing I think that might be a negative is that if Wazzub don’t have any legally binding contractual agreement to promise payments to all of those who have joined. If they could legally rip us off… the whole worlds a scam, it just depends on the level of legal scamminess you can get away with.

From Wazzub´s Terms of Use:
“WAZZUB reserves the right to ask you for proof of identity, e.g. copy of Passport, Driver´s License or Personal ID Card”.
“WAZZUB reserves the right to ask for proof of identity and to refuse the service to any user.”
It could be perfectly harmless, but if you DO provide them with this proof, please black out everything they don´t need to know!
After reading that, I decided not to join. I might be wrong, but at least I won´t have been the victim of identity theft…
